Julie is currently responsible for developing solutions to improve the management, organisation and retrieval of corporate information at the University of Abertay Dundee, focusing on:

• Information architecture of the University portal, including search, navigation, taxonomies and metadata
• Usability and accessibility of online services
• Records management

Her previous role involved the development of the library management system as well as researching and developing new services, in particular resource discovery solutions.  Joining Abertay involved a major change of career and a post-grad qualification - Julie previously spent 9 years in contract management in the European travel industry.
