Tony Hirst, Department of Communciation and Systems, The Open University

Tony Hirst is an itinerant academic in the Department of Communciation and Systems at The Open University. A proponent of lightweight mashups, he has considerable experience in creating rapid web based prototypes out of whatever URIs  people have left laying around.

An advocate of open educational resources (OERs) and RSS for everything, he also helps run WriteToReply, an open paltfrom for discussing public consultation documents.

When not blogging at http://ouseful.info, he can often be found twitterering as @psychemedia
