Alison Sharman works at the University of Huddersfield as an Academic Librarian for the Business School and School of Computing and Engineering. She has a particular interest in UX, has been involved in conducting ethnography research with Business School international students and Computing students to find out more about library usage especially as both groups exhibit non/low usage of library resources. She has a particular interest in library outreach activities and has written a number of articles on Huddersfield’s roving librarian initiative. Finally, she has a responsibility for Marketing within the library and heads up the Branding and Publicity Group.
