Randolf D. Mariano is the Digital Engagement Librarian at the American Center of the U.S. Embassy in Manila. He researches and evaluates online U.S. reference sources for applicability to the embassy and the public needs. He develops web-based reference and research queries, digital video conferencing, and performs social media outreach for the library. He also does Public Diplomacy programming to the public including STEAM, MOOCs and Makerspaces. Most recently, he has worked at Korean Embassy as Library and Research Officer. He is currently taking up Master of Library and Information Science in University of the Philippines. He also graduated in the same school with a degree of Bachelor of Library and Information Science. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, running and blogging.
