Terence K. Huwe is Library Director Emeritus of the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, at the University of California, Berkeley. While leading the IRLE Library he oversaw print and digital collections, all Web administration for the Institute, and served as managing editor of the IRLE Working Paper Series, which is published both on the open Web and in eScholarship (http://repositories.cdlib.org/iir). In 2016 he assumed oversight of IT/Desktop support services and secure data license agreements. He has been a presenter at Internet Librarian USA, Internet Librarian International (London) and Computers in Libraries (Washington, DC). In July 2005, he was a keynoter at AusWeb ’05, a W3 consortium conference sponsored by Southern Cross University, in Australia. Since 2002, he has been a Columnist with Computers in Libraries magazine  (http://www.infotoday.com/cilmag), covering Digital Library development, and has also been a frequent contributor to ONLINE and ONLINE SEARCHER magazines (http://www.infotoday.com). He is currently a member of John Wiley & Sons' North American Advisory Board as well as the Advisory Board for Internet Librarian International.
