Sven Strobel studied linguistics and history at the University of Stuttgart and received his PhD in linguistics at international graduate school. He has worked as an information specialist in the television archives of Bayerischer Rundfunk. Since 2013 he has been working in the Research & Development department of the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB). As Product Owner, he is responsible for the further development of the TIB video portal, TIB AV-Portal
