Lisa Walton is the Executive Editor at Veruscript, where she runs the publishing services program and the portfolio of Veruscript journals. Veruscript publishes focused, open access journals across the sciences, humanities and social sciences and, unlike most publishers, rewards its peer reviewers. Additionally, we offer professional, cost-effective, end-to-end publishing services to societies, institutions and individuals, empowering the community to launch its own journals and to take back control of publishing. Lisa works with partner societies and academics to foster and develop journals with Veruscript. Her career has included posts at Wiley and Oxford University Press, where she oversaw the open access journals launch program.
