We're delighted to announce the first ever Bite-sized ILI, a virtual mini conference taking place on 22 September. Until it's easier for our global delegates to meet in person, we're keeping our valuable conversations and knowledge exchange going through this unique half-day session. Our focus for this first event is AI, post-pandemic user engagement, and machine learning for libraries and archives. It's going to be a packed afternoon with some interesting learnings - we really hope you can join us. Register using the button in the menu bar above, or contact the team at info@internet-librarian.com for more info.

A message for the ILI community - In response to the many supportive messages from our ILI community, asking about our plans for 2021, we wanted to let you know that we continue to revisit all options for a further ILI event, and we'll be in touch with you all very soon with news about how we can keep our conversations going.  If you have any questions about ILI in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team. The ILI community by its nature is truly global, with some 30 countries represented at the conference each year. Because ILI brings together many colleagues from outside the UK, we must take a realistic view about how many delegates and speakers will be in a position to join us in London this October.

The pace of the continuing global health crisis means that we are unable to determine how many of our international delegates will be able to travel in October and, for this reason and with great regret, we have decided to cancel ILI 2020. We will revisit this in 2021 and will be in touch in the new year with more news.

If you have any questions about ILI, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
